These will not allow a V8 engine to fit into a 1960-62 Falcon or Comet.1963-64 Falcon heavy-duty cast iron 260-289 V8 engine mount brack. therefore the 69 mounts should fit the 66 chassis unmodified and thus should fit the 61-63 but may be too low by 1 1/2 inches (which may or may not be a big deal) if someone knows and can help me i would appreciate it. i looked it up and saw that the 66 bird with c/6 used the same motor mounts as the 61-63 so i know that the frame mount is the same, then i looked and saw that the cruiseomatic cars had a slightly different mount which lowers the engine a bit, then i looked and saw the 67-68 bird/ford/lincoln used an almost identical mount as the 66, and then i looked and saw that the frame brackets were the same for the 68 and 69 tbird despite the engine change. i have trans part figured out (worked it out with the 390 and all i have to do is change the bellhousing) so i am wondering if anyone has tried this or seen one? looking in the parts books i think that the stock 68 and newer full size ford/lincoln mounts should go right in. ![]() Westars OE replacement motor mounts effectively control engine movement for vibration-free driving.
